Sharon Gibala of CBS new Baltimore interviewed John Crutchfield while exhibiting at the Timonium
Sugarloaf Craft Fair in Baltimore over the weekend. She asked him how he made his art work
and the status of handmade works in this country today. Only 1% of American products are now made
by hand in this country and this show represents artisan and crafts people who still make everything
by hand like in colonial times before everything was imported to this country.
